Following 20 years working as Financial Controller for a large multinational organisation, as a Chartered Accountant, I created my own accountancy company. I enjoy working with all our clients to help them achieve the best from their business, whatever their industry and seeing their businesses thrive.
I frequently hear from new clients that they have experienced poor service from their previous accountant or are utterly confused by the language and terminology.
I do my absolute best for that not to be the case, to be reachable and respond to clients quickly, explaining accounting issues in jargon free, plain English. I enjoy finding solutions to accounting problems in a timely and patient manner and am very comfortable training clients how to use related software or applications.
My main hobby is sport, any kind, but mainly football both locally and nationally. Travel is another passion of mine whenever I get the opportunity. I have been known to visit Hard Rock cafes around the world and have quite a collection of their shot glasses now.
Cooking is another interest and last but not least, socialising with friends and family fills the rest of my spare time

I started to train as an accountant in 2022, after deciding that working within Local Authority was no longer for me. I wanted something more flexible, but also a career I felt really meant something. I qualified in 2024 as a book-keeper and have continued my learning studying AAT Level 4 alongside working at Lealindis.
My background is quite varied. I have a Law Degree and have also worked in the private lettings industry and statutory homelessness. These gave me a solid base for accounting as a lot of the knowledge is quite useful. My husband is a CIS contractor, and I had already been looking after that element of his Company for years (both as a Contractor and a sub-contractor) so this allowed me to hit the ground running when I joined Lealindis.
My drive is to give our clients the best and most positive experience possible. I try to empower our clients by helping them understand their businesses and complexities that go alongside. I find this allows our clients to really get to grips with their finances, and we can work together to not only give them 100% compliance but better cash flow and increased profit. I take great pride in the success our clients achieve, and knowing that I have played a small part in that.
My favourite part of this job is watching a business grow, right from the start, and seeing them thrive. I aim to be supportive, informative and most importantly, responsive; I will always reply to your email or call you back.

After working for Midland Bank from the late 80s to 90s, I moved into the field of accountancy where I have worked ever since.
I joined Lealindis in the summer of 2025 to deal with payroll. This is an increasingly complex role because of the HMRC and Pension Regulator rules, regulations and deadlines. I enjoy this aspect of accountancy and ensuring clients comply with the regulations and in a timely manner.
Outside of work I enjoy walks in the countryside (especially Yorkshire and Derbyshire), video games and following F1.
